Our next meeting will be held this Friday, August 15th, 7:30pm, at Paddy O’splaines Irish Pub at 2434 W Montrose Ave, Chicago, IL - (773) 866-1825‎ (On Montrose, 1 block west of Western). Ravenswood Lodge is hosting a send off party for one of the Brother’s who is deploying to Afghanistan. $30 all you can drink top shelf with the food provided by the lodge. We will have our meeting off to the side at the same event.

We are changing our future meeting times to the first Saturday of every month at 7pm. This brings us to one stated meeting per month and leaves our Sundays free for rides or personal business. From now on the meeting location will alternate between Bridgeview and the northwest side of Chicago.

The regional gathering is fast approaching. Get the info on the page linked to on your left.

Our September meeting will be on September 6th.  We are heading out to Elkhart, Indiana in order to link up with the Widows Sons Elkhart and particpate in the town’s annual parade. On Sunday, September 7th, we will link up with the Dark Side chapter and head over to the Fugarwe Tribe Pig Roast. Our Brothers from Elkhart will join us.

Next Meeting: Sunday, August 3rd.

Our next meeting will be held Sunday, August 3rd, 11am, at the Venetian Gardens restaurant in Bridgeview.

We will conduct a 45-60 minute meeting followed by a ride to visit our sick Masonic Brother Fern.

Thanks to the Brothers that came out to the Ravenswood Lodge picnic last Sunday. A great time was had by all! The only unfortunate (joking) incident is my promising to do the Chaplains part and the charge to the candidate at Ravenswood’s next stated meeting (August 11th 7pm) at which they are putting on the first degree.

S&F,
Ted
